Otomax is used to treat bacterial infections of the outer ear in dogs By virtue of its three active ingredients Gentamicin, Betamethasone, and Clotrimazole, Otomax ointment provides antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and antifungal activity to combat infections of the outer ear accompanied by inflammation. |

| Doseage and Administration: Prior to use the external ear should be cleaned and dried, and excessive hair should be clipped from the treatment area. Shake well before administration. Dogs < 15kg body weight: apply 4 drops twice daily to affected ear(s) for 7 consecutive days. Dogs > 15kg body weight: apply 8 drops twice daily to affected ear(s) for 7 consecutive days | |
Active Constituents: Each ml contains gentamicin sulphate equivalent to 2640 IU gentamicin base, betamethasone valearate equivalent to 0.88mg betamethasone and 8.80mg clotrimazole. | |
Safety: Do not administer to: Pregnant or lactating bitches. Dogs with perforated tympanic membranes. Dogs with a known hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients. Dogs receiving concurrent products which are known to cause ototoxicity. | |
