	PREVICOX offers fast relief from the pain of dog arthritis or canine osteoarthritis and may help improve the mobility for dogs with this condition. It is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug which can be used as long term therapy.
Product Features Previcox is effective. Formulated especially to alleviate the pain and inflammation of arthritis in dogs, Previcox provides highly effective relief. What's more, laboratory studies have shown that dogs treated with Previcox showed a substantial decrease in lameness. Previcox is fast-acting. Previcox begins to act against the pain and inflammation of dog arthritis within hours of the first treatment. Previcox is demonstrated safe at the recommended dose. In field studies, Previcox was well tolerated by various breeds of dogs with arthritis between 11 months and 20 years of age, over a period of 30 days.
Doseage: Your veterinarian will determine the correct dose of Pervicox for your dog. The recommended dosage is 5 mg/kg body weight once daily. The tablets are scored and dosage should be calculated in half tablet increments.
Application: Chewable Tablets can be administered with or without food.
Active Constituents: Firocoxib 57mg
Safety: Firocoxib should not be given to dogs that are hypersensitive to non-steroidal anti-inflammatories or with any other non-steroidal anti-inflammatories. Do not use in dogs that weigh less than 5.7 kg. The safe use of Previcox with pregnant, lactating or breeding dogs has not been evaluated. Dogs that are dehydrated, on concomitant diuretic therapy, or those with existing renal, cardiovascular, and/or hepatic dysfunction are at a greater risk for experiencing adverse events.br> Use of Previcox at doses above the recommended dose in puppies less than seven months of age has been associated with serious adverse reaction, including death.
